Huh. I think it's about a guy who's girlfriend left, not because she didn't love him, but because she wanted to go away and find herself. When she finally came back around she had become a totally different person, she acted different, talked different, and even had different interests so the guy felt like he didn't know her anymore that's why he asks "did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?" he thinks that maybe her feelings toward him possibly changed too maybe she now thought she was to good for him or something so he asks to find out. This song is great. It reminds of fergies "big girls don't cry" it can be like the guys response to her after she came back from discovering herself, u know |

Well I think the guy in the this song walked out on the girl. I get this idea when he says "I need to hear YOU SAY: That I love you I loved you all along And I FORGIVE YOU FOR BEIN' AWAY FOR FAR TOO LONG" I think that maybe he didn't want to make a commitment to her I think that's what he means when he says "who was I to make u wait" like, who was I to make u wait around for me to commit? So he kinda just walks out on her when she bothers him about commiting but he couldn't take being apart from her so he asks her to give him one last chance and tells her that all along he did love her and that he still does love her and what's to be with her forever. I really love this song,one of my all time faves. I sing it all the time and even have it as my ringtone. Chad kroger has such an Amazing voice, I swear its one of the best I've ever heard! Is it just me, or does his voice sound too awesome during the chourus when he says the words: Dreamin', Me, Breathing, See, Leaving, and Believe? I'm probably just weird.. And someone goofed up on a lyric, it doesn't say: 'So keep breathing |

| I loves this song it's so poetic and just gives me a good feeling even though it's kinda sad, I think. I'm a little stumped about the meaning though, I'm guessin it's about a guy tellin his girl to say goodbye to the good ol days of their relationship because they're gone. But I might be wrong? If I am, can someone please enlighten me? :) | |

| I've alwayz had the idea that it was about a guy whose friend was on drugz. I think the guy was nervous about talking 2 him kuz he didn't knw wut he should (or shouldn't) say but he finally got enuff kourage 2 confront his friend about his problem because he couldn't jus sit back and watch his friend self-destruct. His friend however became very angry with him because he felt embarressed and didn't know that he knew about his addiction and he jus didn't want to hear wut he had to say. Because of how his friend reacted the guy decided to leave and when he left the friend killed himself now the guy feelz guilty bekause he thinkz that if he would hav jus stayed and kept trying 2 talk 2 him instead of walking away or if he hadn't mentioned the drugz and upset him in da first place he would still be here :-( this song had me kryin puddlez the first time that I heard it and it still makez my eyez teary 2day :´-( | |
