I don't think this is re-made by Deep Puple. It was originally by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac (they were blues band then), but later Santana got famous with the remake. A good rendition of the song can be found in 'Tribute to Peter Green' album. |

I, as a person of bengali background, do not consider this to be of anything racist. Maybe some reality..but that is to bring the picture more clear to native english ppl., who otherwise might find that to be negetive. And more horrible reality is these 'bengalis' homeland is soon to go under rising sea-level, not to mention natural calamaties on the rise, because of green house effects of the west. So have mercy, dear industrial nations. For me..i'm proud american born citizen, but it's my moral conviction to be concern of the helpless ppl around the glove, and not just bengalis. World peace altogether. Amen. |
