ive just finished yr 12 and to me this song seems to also be kinda about graduating. "i'm waking up at the start of the end of the world but it's feeling just like every other morning before" wen i woke up on my last day of school it felt so normal but at the same time it felt as if the world was ending. "cars are moving like a half a mile an hour and i started staring at the passengers waving goodbye can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time" on TV graduations u always see the cars driving past ppl really slowly and waving and crying and syaing theyll miss people they barely knew and never seemed 2 think were special b4. "started crying and i couldn't stop myself i started running but there's nowhere to run to" because its such a huge change sumtimes u can help but cry and u want 2 run but because u just got out of school wen thats all uve known it feels like uve got nowhere to go. "it's cool, cool, it was just all cool it's over for me and it's over for you" reference to teenagers saying cool a lot and that all being over. plus that whole seeing how far uve come through schooling years. thats just wat it means 2 me anyway. |
