You know, that's the problem with you christians. You think that every human being that has gone out of YOUR way to become something else because they clearly didn't want that lifestyle sold their souls to the devil. Just because she decided she didn't want to stay in a close-minded environment? And then she decided to fight for things like gay rights? You have to be joking. You don't sell your soul to the devil just because you have other beliefs than those your parents taught you. And, of course, you say so because she comes from a christian family. I'm sure you wouldn't give a damn if she was an orthodox jewish, for instance. How are you so certain you have the correct answer? You aren't, since you're christian just because your parents taught you to believe in jesus. In any case, she's not betraying god, she's just defying her parents. So wash your mouth before you mix religion with someone's personal life. |

I don't think this song's about a breaking up, split up or whatever similar. I think that it's about a guy whose life is becoming harder and harder, because nothing went as he planned. He had expectations, but things weren't getting good enough according to them. He has problems, but he doesn't know how the hell he's gonna work them out. Beautiful song. It used to be my personal anthem... so so so true to me. |
