| I would describe this song as eerie, or haunting. F.M. murdered E.R. for sure. The violins in certain parts of the song sound like something you would hear in a slasher film. When I hear those violins I picture F.M. stabbing E.R. repeatedly. I know it sounds gruesome.. but that image always come to mind. | |

come on guys. pete is obviously a lot smarter than you give him credit for. If there is one thing that is certain, it is that these lyrics are not sub-par. There don't always have to be hidden meanings within the text, but i feel like there are some here. I'm just gonna go out there and say it... I think this is one of the first songs that pete wrote after he found out that he would become a father. it takes something huge to "knock someone out with a feather." and i think this is what he was referring to. America's suitehearts- a young carefree newlywed couple. Sins.. premarital sex? just a thought |
