this is my favorite song by sondre. theres just something about they lyrics and the way he sings them. it just gets me. "it doesn't make sense how you can leave the ground and enter the sky and stay there too" is my favorite line. i think its about falling in love for the first time and feeling like your floating. and you're wondering how this feeling can stay with you where ever you go. |

this song is one of my favorites of sondre's. he is an amazing, talented, extremely underrated artist. to me this song is about a new relationship & some people around them are questioning it. and basically he's saying 'dont care about what they think of us. i like you, you like me and thats all we need." its so sweet and adorable :) |

i think its about someone you were so close to & now its like you don't even know them anymore. and the pain that comes with it. "would you say that one of your dreams got in you and ripped out the seams? that's what i say" to me this means that the person the songs about had some kind of an ideal/dream stuck in their head and completely changed who they were because they were so obsessed with this idea or dream. but if you said "would you say that THE one of your dreams...ect" it totally changes it. to me it means that they completely changed who they were to be accepted by 'the one of your dreams' i love this song. its so beautiful, prob. my favorite song by elliott |
