The ciggarette part has been bothering people but I think I have an idea. Sometimes when people smoke they use it as a comfort or escape when someone bad happens. If Hikaru were to have gotten into a fights with her husband a lot and he started to smoke more often she could be upset. The fact that she's the reason he's smoking more and we all know somking isn't good for you. I think the smoking could mean he gave up on finding a solution and listening to her and just lit a cig. I'd be upset if someone did that to me. |
