| Iwrestledabearonce – The Cat's Pajamas Lyrics | 15 years ago |

This is one of their best songs IMO. It's epic, stays stuck in your head and feels like it has more meaning to the lyrics than the other songs. Obviously about a troubled childhood. |

| Coheed and Cambria – The Broken Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song will be amazing live. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Pearl of the Stars Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song and Made out of Nothing (All That I Am) feel to me like the defining songs of Year of the Black Rainbow. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Made Out of Nothing (All That I Am) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm listening through the album now and so far this is my favorite song. It's possibly the Writing Writer talking about his work? |
| Coheed and Cambria – This Shattered Symphony Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song sounds like Coheed's thoughts on killing his children because of the virus. | |
| Gorillaz – Some Kind Of Nature Lyrics | 15 years ago |
corrections? Lou Reed: Some kind of nature Some kind of soul Some kind of mixture Some kind of gold Some kind of majesty Some chemical load Some kind of metal made up from glue Some kind of plastic I could wrap around you The(I don't know what he says here, but it wasn't that)man-made's, they wear phony clothes They sit with barbiturates and filled with gold 2D: Some kind of nature Some kind of soul Some kind of mixture Some kind of gold Some kind of majesty Some chemical load Lou Reed: Well near the plastics And digital foils Could wrap up the sound And protect the girls From the spiritual poison We expel at night Like phony clothes, but I really like my- Some kind of nature (some kind of nature, some kind of soul) Come forth within us Oh, Lord, forgive me (some kind of mixture, some kind of gold) It's gonna come and find us All we are is stars Some kind of metal made up from glue Some kind of plastic I could wrap around you The(?)man-made's, they wear phony clothes They sit with barbiturates and filled with gold Some kind of nature (some kind of nature, some kind of soul) Comes forth within us Oh, Lord, forgive me (some kind of mixture, some kind of gold) It's gonna come and find us All we are is stars |

| Gorillaz – Pirate Jet Lyrics | 15 years ago |

gah this song needs to be longer for the Plastic Beach finale. it's got a very marching in time sound. |
| Gorillaz – On Melancholy Hill Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Hell yeah! Roller-rink music. This song is one of my favorites on the album. It's really depressing for some reason. Yeah it seems like it's about being with the person you love. |
| Gorillaz – Rhinestone Eyes Lyrics | 15 years ago |
It's "Under sunshine Pylons we'll meet while..." |
| Gorillaz – To Binge Lyrics | 16 years ago |
wow... It's a Plastic Beach ballad between Yukimi Nagano and 2D. It's really beautiful if you listen close. It reminds me of... waking up from an overdosed NyQuil induced dream and going for a walk on a pier in the rain. This song doesn;t really seem like it's about anything. It's just a GoRiLLaz song. =] |
| Gorillaz – Superfast Jellyfish Lyrics | 16 years ago |
HOLY SHIT BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM!!!!! sorry... It's such a catchy and happy tune, I listen to it all day. I love the breakfast commercial vox. lol but i can't place my thumb on exactly the meaning of the lyrics besides the ocean pollution part. Breakfast? |
| Gorillaz – Rhinestone Eyes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"I'm a scary gargoyle on a tower That you made with plastic power Your rhinestone eyes are like Factories far away With the paralytic dreams that we all seem to keep Drive on engines til they weep we're Future pixels in factories far away" could he be talking about industry and it's image with the 'scary gargoyle'? "So call the mainland from the beach Our pod is now washed up in bleach the Waves are rising For this time of year And nobody knows what to do with the heat Under sunshine parts we'll all meet while Rain is falling like rhinestones from the sky" He's talking about whales washing up on the beach 'in bleach'. the tides and temmpurature are changing because of pollution... This song is about the deterioration of nature. In the clinky-cloncky down and dirty style like Happy Landfill. Great way to bring 2D's vocals into the album with his talk-singing. |
| Gorillaz – Plastic Beach Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is trippy... What a great album in my opinion. It's a shame about that floating landfill in the ocean. That's the only thing this song can be about. It's what the album's about. Styrofoam, plastic, trash, scraps all collected in the ocean like an island. |

| Gazette – Carry? Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I wish they had the beginning and ending little talking parts translated. I fucking love this song, the chorus is always stuck in my head. This song always reminds me of someone having a split personality (Like a woman who has another personality name Carry) and Carry is a really demeaning and violent personality while the original personality is weak and submissive. Then finally the woman jumps off a building and dies. Not saying that's what this is about, just what I think of when i listen. The dearest fiance is me It whisper in sweet voice You are having already died... --- I think of 'Carry' saying this. I did not find a translation Me reflected in a mirror Her who looks at it and cries Please let me know someone I am in such a figure why... --- And this is the woman looking in the mirror not know what's wrong with her. Carry... can you love such me? Carry... may in a side all the time? Carry...? do not already cry... Carry... I do not go anywhere --- This feels like a back and forth; Carry, Woman, Carry, woman. Who made me such figure? It is a already many To die, if it was such a thing is easier It is a too pitiable and is too unhappy... I am not a ghost It gives without seeing my by such eye I have really become what? The head is likely to be crazy Please help me...It will die Doesn't it understand? You are already dead... --- At this point the woman is realizing she's mentally unstable and thinking of how to deal with it. It remembered at last At that time I was dead? At that time it jumped down from building and died --- Then she jumps off a building i guess and you know the rest. |

| Gazette – Distress and Coma. (Japanese/English) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
first to comment? where is everyone?! One of the gazettE's most epic songs to date? I'll be working and just randomly sing "Hello dear my bride... Nani wo mite iru no?" Then have the song stuck in my head all night. could this be a continuation of Shishigatsu youka/Miseinen/Reila? |
| Gazette – 「A MOTH UNDER THE SKIN」 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
when i first got this CD I didn't really like this song. I mean, i liked Reita's funky bass line (That guy's always grooving) Then it just grew on me. It would seem he's talking about how modern society is obsessed with beauty. And if you have none, you're 'less' of a human in social standings. And also, strange things are becoming more socially acceptable like bizarre looks and other things in pop culture. This is me just spit balling here though. |
| Gazette – In the Middle of Chaos Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is awesome. Very catchy and a little different for the GazettE. The name sounds like a Rentrer En Soi song though lol And the song actually sounds a little American almost. But it's not bad. |
| Gazette – 「13STAIRS [-] 1」 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
the music reminds me of a Tool song. Very mysterious sounding and solid. Ruki really wants someone to suck his dick... (in SxDxR too) |
| Gorillaz – Re-Hash Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Okay, REAL lyrics. Just read 'Rise Of The Ogre' people: It's a sweet sensation, over the dub Oh what a situation, that don't wanna stop It's the drugstore soulboy, over the dub With the sweetest inspiration, we don't wanna stop It's the money or stop |
| Gazette – Art Drawn By Vomit Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This is what I heard them saying before i looked at this: Hey Jesus Fuck Your foreign Pain Hey Jesus Suck My Virgin Hate Hey Jesus Fuck Your foreign Pain This Art Was Drawn By Vomit But I really like this intro. And I like the other songs at the begining. When I sing along it sounds like GazettE with ADD how it changes so fast. Usually intros are boring, but I can listen to this one over and over. |

| Fall Out Boy – Bang the Doldrums Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is me and my "girlfriend"'s song. i say "girlfriend" because were 'best ex-friends' now and will get back together because we're 'better off as lovers and not the other way around'. This song means so much to me. I don't care what everyone says about Fall Out Boy changing. It's a good change. They're still great and creative. Every band must evolve. Their greatest self-describing quote is: "We're the new face of failure" because in the sell-out fans eyes, they've failed. They really haven't. Oh and this song is about one thing: MEMORIES. |
| Fall Out Boy – Chicago Is So Two Years Ago Lyrics | 17 years ago |
HOLY SHIT! I was listening (recently got into Fall Out Boy after all the hype) and recognized Justin Pierre singing on here!!! if you don't know, he's the lead singer of Motion City Soundtrack! He sings the "with every breath i wish your body will be broken again" part. And very good i might add... |
| Gorillaz – Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
actually, 'Pharmacopia', this song was origianally written in english (these actual lyrics here), Gorillaz then sent it to Ibrahim Ferrer who re-did it with the spanish lyrics. He changed them but essentaly kept the same twist on it (i.e. "?que pasa contigo?" and "what's the matter with me?"). As for these lyrics, they're mostly spot on except one line i saw... "I always feel scared in this town when nothings wrong" sounds more like it should be: "I always feel it's getting you down when nothing's wrong." |
| Tokyo Police Club – New Song Lyrics | 18 years ago |
whoa whoa whoa... this is like one of the best live songs i've ever heard! Insanely catchy drum beat! i can't grasp a real concept on the lyrics except there's alot about the body and blood and stuff... |
| Tokyo Police Club – A Lesson in Crime Lyrics | 18 years ago |

tokyo plice club = one of my favorite bands. been listening to them ever since i saw Cheer it On! on the International Music Feed a while ago. Greatest indie band EVER. Hurry with the CD please! I want my friends to listen to it... |
| Tokyo Police Club – Shoulders and Arms Lyrics | 18 years ago |
okay this song reminds me of a cowboy movie. Even though I know that's not what it's about... "But way out in the distance We see your white boots glisten in the sun", how the cowboy always comes to a random town. "We sincerely hope you know just what you're doing", just reminds me of scared towns people. "We see you draw your pistols and aim at us", don't even have to explain myself... "At first we try to reason with you But you suggest we say our prayers Shoulder back and arms in the sky We sincerely hope you live a better life", i think of towns people talking to the cowboy, some woman usually falls in love with the cowboy in the end of the movies and hopes he "lives a better life". "Cause you You're so calm I don't know where you are from You You're so young I don't care what you've done wrong", and finally, the cowboy is usually a calm nerved mysterious figure who has a "bad past" and doesn't expect anyone to forgive him for his wrongs. |
| Tokyo Police Club – Cut Cut Paste Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this is a beautiful story-of-a-song. An accentric love song that tells a tale of an obscure obsession. Definatly my favorite love song ever! The hook catches her lip and he reels her up to kiss, the hook impails their tounges creating a unique scar ("Cause when we kiss our scars align.") just a unique way of putting story and imagry in a song. |
| Tokyo Police Club – Box Lyrics | 18 years ago |
cool song. nice keyboards and drumming as usual. I like the split pre-chorus alot and the "Hey!"'s in the background. This seems different from their slightly politcal songs and sounds more like a personal song, either to Monks or the band as a whole |
| Tokyo Police Club – La Ferrassie Lyrics | 18 years ago |
it breaks out in the end? It breaks out in the end?! i didn't expect that, and it was totally awsome! with the running keyboard, it's really catchy. and the random screaming in the background is a perfect touch. GO TPC! |
| Tokyo Police Club – Be Good Lyrics | 18 years ago |
OMG! the energy is stupendious! Great piercing guitar riffs... i think he favors a solid body. the clapping in their tracks never gets old. the lyrics are fast paced and use some great phrases. "Ways of the samurai Perry thrust, do or die Not the fighting type Not the killing kind" |
| Tokyo Police Club – Graves Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this is my faavorite song by them. I love how when he sings it, his voice has a rasp to it that injects emotion. the little bell parts are nice too along with the unique drumming (like on all their songs.. Great drummer!!!). It's very clear what the song's about though, and i like that Monks is writting about his mom but not in a 'sissy' way. I never thought of writting like that... i don't know, can't really explain it. GAHHH!! i wish i had saw them in seattle!!! |
| The Killers – Under the Gun Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Yeah yeah, i like how this song is one of their more 'raw' ones, there's no digital sounds or synth (not that thats bad), it's just Flowers on vocals and the rest of them on their respective instruments. It sounds very 'first album-y'. AND it's catchy as hell. The opening of the song just grabs your attention.I'm agreeing that it's a scuicide song in a way. |
| The Killers – Smile Like You Mean It Lyrics | 18 years ago |
this is their best song in my opinion. hands down. its also their saddest if you ask me. just the way Flowers sings it! And the synth is really catchy and melancholy... Yeah this song is definatly about memories: "And someone is calling my name From the back of the restaurant And someone is playing a game In the house that I grew up in And someone will drive her around Down the same streets that I did On the same streets that I did" Also, I think he's reminding himself to 'smile like he means it' about his memories. |
