| the lyrics are probably meaningless, but at that point when it sounds like they're saying "paul mccartney is dead" it gets kinda freaky. | |

The part with the quick singing is totally different and goes like this: I know some places And I see some faces I've got the connections I dig my directions What people say, that's okay They don't bother me, oh yeah I'm ready to make it Don't care what the weather Don't care 'bout no trouble Got myself together I feel the kind of protection That's all around me |

| This song is simply amazing, especially the chorus "There's me with the geriatrics at the slot machines...". To me in this song the guy is setting himself apart from the racy and immature youth and prefers to be "the embodiment of how slow life can be". | |

| Mike i hope you don't mean the trumpets in the back because that's what makes this song the shit. Is it just me or does it remind you of the music that was on that old old batman show (not the cartoon one but the one with the really lame outfits) | |

Are you saying that beastly hulk is emo? :D No, but seriously these are some fine lyrics, not really deep, but well written about a girl that he... well let's say he doesn't like her much. The first line you quoted is awesome. Obviously this isn't your average dillinger song, some may be disappointed but i like the way the entire new album fits together, and it shows these are great musicians comfortable playing anything and I admire them for that. |
