i love toadies but i have to agree that it seems that they like to write about rape. this song is blatantly about rape, theres no way around it. sneakings into the house and creeping up to some terrified chick. "i will be with her tonight...." Almost sounds like "be my angel... do you want to die???" doesnt it i love this album and this song, but there's a lot of rape going around in Todd's head |

the song isnt making fun of Rage or anything like that, people need to be educated before they write crap like that. its just pointing out the irony in the fact that so many people who are anti-establishment and support certain left wing agendas happen to also be rich and and just as part of the capitalist system that they criticize. (such as how he talks about buying various anti-establishment products by wholely capitalist means such as e-bay). the song is partially self depracating because fat mike himself is filthy rich, but is still a part of the counter-culture, so to speak. the song, however, is not necessarily criticizing any leftist, socialist, or anarchist ideals, but is more a commentary on how EVERYTHING in our culture now is monetized, commercialized and capitalized, even the resistance and revolution to that very system. its a clever song, it DOES have meaning but its also making fun of things too... typical NOFX, joke with some teeth behind it. it is making fun of pseudo-anarchists too, but mike can't really do that so well because he is rich and lives in the suburbs |

wow... i cant believe people are debating this i joined this site just to post this because i got so pissed off reading some of these comments the song is so obviously about fat mike killing bush. if you cant figure that out you should not be listening to NOFX. its about fat mike killing a very unpopular world figure 'for the benefit of man' who had 'beady eyes'. who is the most unpopular political figure in the world? just a clue its not osama bin ladin. also, the part about the man's replacement having planned the whole scenario clearly is about how everyone knows that bush is just a dumb figurehead used for because of his name and because he can pretend to be a cowboy to appeal to the 'common man' even though he grew up mostly in new england. the real masterminds are cheney, rumsfeld, wolfowitz, etc. cheney would be his replacement, and how much would he love to be in control without being elected but would fat mike really talking about killing bush????? pay attention to the music, maybe Idiot Son of an Asshole to start if you still disagree, pull your head out of your ass or burn your nofx albums, you dont deserve them |
