Hmmm, I think this song is about drugs and the inability to escape their appeal. In the first and second verse there is a feeling of wanting to escape the world and the need to hide away from everything, perhaps because they are weak and cannot survive without a numbness to reality. The user realises though that what they are doing is not right and attempts to quit and turn back but doesn't know how to (forgetting their way home and everything they know) and eventually they turn back to drugs. A complicated song, but simply brilliant. |
