it's not tags but taigs monkfluence. but i don't think thats where she got it from. i remember as a child people used to ask you if you were a carrot or a potatoe. i think the cat and penguin thing is something along those lines.
i understand everything, but i still cant quite work out the meaning. perhaps about getting back up again and again and again... |

The song is obviously about depression and the upbeat tune is unusual. But maybe it's upbeat for a reason. Everyone says the tune makes them happy! It's motivating. Perhaps feeder wanted to show people feeling like this that they could be happy again |

Wow I've always loved this song, but i've just realised that I kind of find myself in this situation, because I am living far away from home and my boyfriend at the moment.
They both fell in love, maybe one summer when they spent loads of time at the seaside and now the girl is away the guy is kind of confused. He loves her, but maybe he feels he's falling out of love with the girl and he doesn't want to and he's not sure how she feels either. He wants to go back to that summer and fall in love all over again or just have her back by his side, but he's also not sure if thats what she wants.
It's a really crappy feeling this. |

I've heard Gary say on a few occasions say that 'chasing cars' means 'chasing girls'. It comes from something his dad once said to him!
In this song, I think he's essentially chasing one girl and he's trying to tell her he loves her and wants to be with her etc.
'Let's waste time, chasing cars, around our heads' - I think this line was actually spoken some time in the past, to perhaps his guy mates, when they would chase after different girls every week when they were out 'on the pull' lol.
But now he realises that all that was just a waste of time and wants to be with just this one special gir who makes him truly happy. |
