| Avantasia – Dying for an Angel Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Aniland, the video clip suggests it's the other way around. Still, we probably shouldn't make a judgement call until we at least know what Klaus Meine's character is supposed to be... | |
| Blind Guardian – Another Stranger Me (Revised) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I always thought this song was about a drug addict. He tries to fight his addiction, but eventually he keeps succumbing to the drugs and unleashing the side of his personality that comes with them. 'Out and gone Can't resist Cold and sore The bolt of pain keeps ripping through my head I can take no more' Also, the line 'Give up your cruel invasion' suggests that the obvious split personality is foreign to his body, further leading me further along my drug addict theory. |

| Indeed, this is probably my favourite from the Scarecrow. Who'd have thought you could make a heart-breaking rejection so beautiful? | |
| Avantasia – Another Angel Down Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Sorry to break it to you, but Jorn Lande (the other guy singing) plays Mephistopiles in this album, and taking into account the facts that the song preceding this one (What Kind of Love) is essentially the love of Tobi's character's life blatantly rejecting him and that the album only spirals downwards from here until he basically gives up on love, I'd say that this song is basically an approximation of the devil tempting Tobi's character away from anything that could make him happy. Case in point: "You better taste - they call it life: my special area I'm breeding winners over there" "They left you for dead Turning your head Away from the living From flesh and blood" Avantasia is an anomaly in which you have to look at the lyrics in context to the rest of the album to see where they fit into the story. They're genius. |

| Nightwish – Wish I Had an Angel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| You know... this song reminds me of the storyline from 'the Phantom of the Opera.' It wouldn't surprise me if Nightwish wrote a song about that story, as they have already covered the main song from the musical. | |
