although it does seem like a love song, i do think it can be interpreted as both love and his relationship with god. which alot of his songs do that
and although he says "you look like the songs that ive heard my whole life comming true" it really does sound like hes talking about a girl, however when people are looking for "someone" they are usually looking for someone to fill that empty spot in their heart and to listen and be there and to love and forgive which totally describes god. so honestly, i think it could be either. we will just have to ask bryce |

ive realized that alot of bryce's lyrics consist of how god has really saved him. in this song i believe he talks about how JESUS is always and forever his friend. because we all know that gradually we loose our friends, but JESUS will always be there |
