yeahh, it's deffs about a girl cheating and the guy getting revenge, that much is straight forward. personally, i think this song's straight up amazing, and my personal favourite. i dont know if it's meant to be taken litterally or if maybe it's just what matt really wants to do. and the stop rewind watch them die part is probably refering to how he starts going crazy after he does it and is saying it to himself, and makes it seem like he killed the girl too, not himself. not to mention being an awesome chat that i cant wait to yell when they play this song febuary 1st! |

i love how many people had to go onto wikipedia to learn about the Tiananmen Square protests and resulting massacre. these guys love system and yet proably have no idea about what the majority of the subject matter is about. did any of you kids pay any attention in Global II? anyway, beast song. more straight foreward than most of theirs. still, awesome. |

so yeah, i checked the CD booklet and it's "but i've seen what happens to the wicked and proud when they try to take on the throne for the crown." which might be political, like, yeah take on the government (throne) if you want to change things but not if you're just lusting for power yourself (the crown). but that's not exactly brand new's style. and yeah, we've all mentioned how the crazy dude in dogma said something remotely similar. well, big deal, i think you're reading too much into that. |
