I think it's about a couple who has had their share of ups and downs and the girl isn't too sure if she wants to stay but he doesn't want to let her go. They had plans together to get married and have a house, it sounds like future plans we're made but someone ruined them. "All the times you came to me and told me that you cared I was dreaming of happy days that we both could share Maybe I got too excited, and maybe you freaked out Maybe I just have to call you up and scream and shout" This set of lyrics is about the guy falling for her, he tries to keep up his wall but he loves her so much that the walls don't exist. I think also maybe they hurt each other somehow someway and I absolutely love the "Now I fall to pieces when you softly call my name" It's like he feels like he is losing her and her calling out his name feels so good it feels like home to him and the fact that he might lose that kills him. "I remember the days when I was stronger than a wall Try as anybody might, they couldn't move me at all Now I fall to pieces when you softly call my name Going up in smoke rings like a moth within your flame" He loves her so much and he is infatuated and doesn't want to lose her. When I see your pretty face I almost want to cry. It's about him wanting to spend the rest of his life with that pretty face and he is about to lose her. "All of my friends tell me that I ought to play it cool No one likes too much attention from a desperate fool Still I don't believe that I can keep it all inside When I see your pretty face, I almost want to cry" Thats what I get out of it. I love this song so much. it speaks to my current situation. |

its about a relationship gone wrong, things were great but someone F*cked up and made a mistake. Its about someone giving their heart and soul into a relationship and they aren't recieving anything back from their partner but they love them so much that they'll always be there. "You always find a way to keep me right here waiting" I think its like he's saying a part of me wants to leave and start something new but something just keeps me "right here waitng." "I keep bending til I break" that line is about somone giving their all and their partner isn't giving back. At least thats what I get out of the song. It describes my relationship to the tee. I try and try and try and give my boyfriend my all then he went out and cheated on me with a co worker after saying he wanted to marry me and buy a house with me. but i'm still here after all the crap, I gave him a second chance something keeps me with him. Something keeps me right here waiting. |
