i really love the way he sings the line 'forget that you exist', he sounds so...angry? perhaps not the best word, but i just love the expression in his voice. also, the chorus lines 'This is how it ends We believe every lie and say we'll be friends' reminds me of how me and my exboyfriend left things 10months ago, swearing it wasnt over forever, but i guess i always knew it would be. |

This song is so beautiful, and so deep. It reminds me of myself and the state i am currently in, 11 months after my relationship ended. Sometimes some of the lines remind me of myself though, and the way i treated my ex, for example 'I had your back, I held you up, I told you you were good enough It was not reciprocated, you kept affection and yourself apart'. he used to tell me so much and i guess me being me, sometimes i was very distant. but then some lines remind me of how he acts with me now 11months on; 'You make me feel like the act of love is empty' because now its as if everything we had just meant nothing. its just forgotten. some of the most beautifully written lyrics i have seen. |
