i think its the beginning of their relationship or maybe a crush on someone hes hooking up with, and he is fucking head-over-heals for her she seems like his everything, his healer or savior. he'd give everything and himself up for her. i love this song. |

in response to the comment above me... he DOES usually write so sarcastically, but that doesnt mean what he writes isnt real to him and that hes just making fun of himself even for feeling the things hes made fun of before. as for his voice here, max said in an interview "I think I’ve learned how to control my voice in a way that I’m not constantly growling like on the last record. This may scare some people but I’m less afraid of being “emotional” on this record." i def dont think this song is a joke, i mean this girl is the focus of like at least 1/3 of these twenty something songs. he said also that he's telling an 'actual love story.' and her calling him maxim just shows how intimate it was. this is the girl he gives himself to in 'baby girl, im a blur.' its just crazy the way he wants her. thats my opinion, but maybe im that fan girl being tricked by a cheesy song? haha who knows with that being said, i like the heart behind this song but its just not say anything to me. its more like an interlude. |
