this reminds me of a situation i experienced. the lead singer is telling his love interest that their relationship is just blossoming and while it can't last because he has to leave, they should let go of worry and enjoy their time together anyway. she is scared about the potential pain but he understands that its better to love with your whole heart and lose it in a few days than not to love at all. if you have ever seen a-ha's second video "the sun always shines on tv" it is an end of sorts to the video of take on me. the lead singer is with his lover in the woods. he begins to revert back to his animation form. they exchange sad glances and he runs into the woods and explodes leaving his lover to mourn against a tree alone. this references him not being able to stay with her in the take on me song. |

extreme cold and fire both create the same physical feeling in skin in that they overload nerve endings past their limit to feel any sensation other than pain. i think thats why she is comparing the two. britney knows her anatomy/physio and chemistry. |

this is a graphic post but so is this song, in either case be forewarned. "it's a possibility to live without lips" is a reference to not needing a woman's vaginal lips in my opinion. the broken kids being semen spilled during masturbation sounds spot on. |
