| pigeons is just a term for the people caught in the systematic gang culture in NY, and scream phoenix which comes after this is like the ascent, or evolution from pigeon to phoenix. its pretty much representative of their escape from the street violence. Vordul's verse makes this whole world of imagery for instance 'eskimo metal' could be the armour he wears in the cold world, the 'oxygen shell' being his own body. amazing tune. | |
