this song can have so many different meanings my guess would be its relation to our materialistic world and how we care more about money rather than who we are. people are not even caring about what they do because with this money they can just buy there stairway to heaven. as the song says "it makes me wonder"...thats my guess |

this song is truly kick ass...yeah its the best maiden song but its also one of the greatest songs ever. it is perfect from its lyrics to the music. even the name of hallowed be thy name gives it that eerie feel and makes u think about how sacred and holy u are when ur waiting to die and the time is coming near. |
