Man, I know exactly how he feels when he sings this. Last semester, my best friend (who lives in a different state), told me he really wanted to pursue a relationship. I had liked him for a REALLY long time, so obviously I was excited. Granted, it was a long distance relationship, but he came to visit a couple times, and I was supposed to fly out this summer, but some family stuff came up. Anyway, he was planning on transferring to a school near me as soon as his year at his internship was up... but then suddenly he stopped calling and writing letters (we loved writing letters). It's been 2 months since we last talked, and I found out today that he's dating some girl up there. I was listening to this CD today while on the road, and was just like "dang. This song fits." haha |
