I have never read the bible so im going to interpret this my way. I think he is saying that success does not mean happiness. Futher, if you live thinking that it does you will be miserble. At the begining he is taking the perspective of a dying man, who lead a happy life. Not necessarily a sucessful man, but a happy one none the less. |

You got it backwards CK...follow blindly...as in no opinon. This song points out the fact that there are leaders and followers. As cliche as it is, when the going gets tough you better get going. If you don't then you'll just be following "blindly till the end" "like a little girl with a stupid crush". Take initiative and "make this life yours". |
