I always thought the eye thing made sense.. reminds me of the old 'you've got something in your eye..' trick. I think its a joke, he gets a midge in his eye and says the eskimo comment, and she kisses him and hes saying that he didn't mind at all :p in a sarcastic sorta way :) sad really- he wants her for ages, gets her, then it ends. brilliant song though. |

What a song. Its like when you have an argument, and you want to win, and be the right one, but really you know that your in the wrong. "Shut up, I'm wrong, I know But we can't talk about it" I'm pretty stubborn like that. but i like that idea 'jojomeimei' :) |

This is my favourite Augustana song by far :) Love the 2nd verse, especially the emphasis on "all the time" and even though the song meaning is pretty sad, it never fails to make me smile. Best kinds of songs. |
