Simplex, you sir are an idiot. You hate suicidal people? Damn thats low, i mean do you kick crippled people too? The song is about Tom having a severe depressive episode and contemplating suicide, he talks to himself in his head and assesses his life, in particular a relationship he is unsure about "I don't know she cares." Look, depression is a wide reaching and serious disorder and telling people that they have no apparent reason for feeling shitty and that you hate them doesn't really help. Tom Atkin himself suffered from clinical depression while he wrote this album and this is exactly what the song is about; taking stock of ones life. |
