Well, I did this thing called "homeschooling" so, that, combined with a lot of "protection" some churches have can give people a real sheltered and distorted view of the world. Its almost as church people are just held back from what the Lord has called them to be because of fear. A fear the church and parents can give sometimes. I don't see at as government because we have a fairly liberal one that does not shelter us from much, and I saw ABR pray for GW Bush at a concert, so...sounds more like a communist type, but we don't got one nearby (except Cuba!). |

Allright, I hate the "cliche-emo beginning" with 'Everything is Burning.' I am a big fan of harder music (August Burns Red, Norma Jean, Haste the Day). However, these gents lay down some very outstanding lyrics. And, I think this song is very obvious in this meaning, as are the rest. Don't have to search for the meaning like in some of Norma Jean's songs, but, it makes it a little more rewarding :) |
