this is my favorite song ever, hands down. i think its about a guy who's in love with his best friend. and she's might love him too, but she always goes for the wrong guy who treats her badly. "i'm coming out of my cage" means that he's finally ready to tell her that he loves her. "gotta be down, because i want it all" he wants to be friends with her and more "it started out with a kiss" he kissed her, and realized he loved her as more than a friend. BUT she's still with this other guy and its killing me. "jealousy, turning saints into the sea" - he's so mad jealous that everything he knows and is familiar with changing "twirling her sick lullabye" - her way of doing things (having all these other guys that aren't him who aren't even good to her) "but its just the price i pay" - this is what he gets for being the nice guy friend type all this time "destiny is calling me" - being the nice guy friend type is all he'll ever be "cause i'm mr. brightside" - the friend. the killers are soo incredible. |
