Some people are born miserable. I have a friend who was like that for years. She started doing heavy drugs (and regularly smoking pot) and drinking a lot when she was about 11 because she just wanted an escape. Thankfully now, she's happier and has stopped all of that. I'm guessing Christofer Drew is one of those people. |

Sooooooooooooo beautiful. Seeing this live was absolutely one of the most incredible moments of my life.
The meaning is pretty obvious. Rescuing someone who is hiding behind their walls of loneliness. |

How has nobody commented on this song yet? It's my favorite off the new record.
Basically, it's about a person who wants to run away from their troubles, but the narrator/singer is telling them that no matter how far they run, their problems will follow them until they deal with them. Something I'm not sure about, is if the singer (possibly Ace, but I don't think most of his songs are in first person. Well, not HIS first person anyway. Anyone understand what I'm saying?) is their problems, and they're trying to run away from that failed relationship/friendship/whatever. That would make sense in the "I will find you" context of the song. |

| My Favorite Highway – Dreamer Lyrics

Lyric correction from the CD booklet:
"Baby I know you're afraid I'm a leaver
But I'm in the fight, here to stay,
I'm a dreamer"
The meaning is pretty straightforward. This guy likes a girl who was left by someone she really cared about. She's afraid the new guy is going to do the same thing. He's telling her that he's here to stay, ready to fight, and that he's willing to dream about a future.
And of course, a Casablanca reference. If you've ever seen Casablanca, that line will make more sense to you. |

I agree with donnied_doan though. If I were them, I'd probably shoot you just to get you to shut up! Not that that's funny at all... |

I read a really good book called Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. It deals with a school shooting, except it's more of the story about the guy (Peter) who decided to bring a gun to school one day after being bullied more than one person can take, his family, and his child-hood best friend who dated one of the bullies who he shot. It's an AMAZING book from an amazing author.
And She Said Yes was written by Cassie's mother I"m pretty sure, so I'm not sure how ENTIRELY accurate it could be. Mother's don't know everything. |
