i LOVE this song!!! its fantastic!!! the other day i dedicated Misery Business to a mean girl at our school! ON A LIVE RADIO SHOW!!! OMG! i felt sooo evil! but it was worth it!! cause i got my revenge!!! and the best part of the song is :"once a whore ure nothing more, im sorry that'll never change!" and the part that i can relate to most is : "And about forgiveness We're both supposed to have exchanged I'm sorry, honey, but I passed that up Now look this way" that like totaly makes sense abt me and that girl! mwahahaha!!! :D :P LOL |

hehe i agree with "mikagexxangel" i thought id be with my guy forever...but i lost that feeling and didnt wanna be in a relationship anymore...and all of those feelings and emotions are just gone...but now im like in love with one of my best guy friends who's a senior in highschool (y do i always have to fall in love with the older guys!?!?!) so i dont think it'll work out...cause he thinks of me as his little sister...but even if it doesnt : "And if you have to go We'll always know that you shine brighter Than anyone does" |

i think its about suicide like many people have already said...its just the whole meaning of the song....and even when u break it down to little parts..i think it is either her...wanting to commit suicide and getting over it by writing this song..or like others said...her telling the story of someone else...or any suicidal person in general...and the part"dont pretend to hold it in, just let it out.." shes either trying to tell herself(if the song is abt her) or advising others to do that (if its aimed to suicidal listeners) ive never thought abt it having to do with abuse or domestic violence...im gonna go take another listen and think abt all this and see what pops up in my mind :P |

i LOVE her new album!! i like DIED wen i hear the new songs for the 1st time! :P I think this song (like alealigirl said) is abt her beeing in love with a guy she barely knows....she saw him once...and it was love at first site...and the part that reflects that meaning most is "we've barely met and still i cross the street to your door...!" meaning that she is like obsessed with him..he doesnt even know her... and the part that goes :some day when our stories are told, they'll tell of a love like this.when our descendants are all growing old..." i think this means that she is 100% SURE that he will eventually fall in love with her and they will get married and have kids (their descendants..) wat do y'all think?? :D |
