| Placebo – Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I feel like the person is sort of jealous of the one they direct these lyrics towards. -It doesn't hurt me. So much hate for the ones we love? Let me steal this moment from you now.- It's like they are telling the other person that even though they hate them for what they have/are, they would trade lives with them in a second. |

I love listening to this in my car with all the windows down and watching everything fly by with speed of the music. I feel like at any moment my body could just burst into flames from the energy. ^it may sound cliche, but it is true. It's one of the best feelings in the world. |

| Sun Kil Moon – Carry Me Ohio Lyrics | 18 years ago |

From what I've read, this song is about the regret he feels for never going back and telling her how he felt. Almost as if they were "young love" and he didn't take it seriously until they were old, and she was dying and then it all sank in. He realizes how much she really meant, and hopes that the people lucky enough to be with her in her last days cherish it. I could be wrong. Either way I love the song. |
