This is my thoughts and feelings toward this song. I love slipknot. Im so glad for the alubm… I just want to know if its going to be great. “The state of the nation - violation! A broken promise is as good as a lie. The hell is humongous, the Devil's among us And we will burn because we won't unite!” This world is shit. Everyone thinks they are right. and everyone runs in there own directions. from a christian ideas -< The devils grip on this world is strong then ever before. corrupting every soul along the way. I see the fall of america happening in 10-20 years. i believe it will happen. the economy. the greed. the selfishness. "We won't witness anymore freedom. What does anybody do we need 'em? I would rather fight, than let another die. We're the problem, but we're also the solution." Past generations have figured out all in the ins and outs to all the coolest things. and have decided some things are bad. they put rules down. then more laws are created around those rules. slowly we have boxed ourselfs in these little 2x2 square boxes afraid to live. Us ignorant young-ins need to learn from our mistakes not theres. and if we try, we break about 4 laws just trying to live freely. we are a dead generation with nothing to do. China (in the new Olympics) have also shown that they want these ideals. Our generation is tired and doesn’t understand the meaning of fighting anymore. Videogames are good enough. we our the cure to this planets, the dreamers I mean. We have figured out all the tactics and mind fucks they do to us all to get us to do there bidding. Fighting each other has lost its fun. Now its point, click, boom. Hundreds gone. Used to be; One on One. Respect and honor. Now, nothingness. PTSD! Mind fucks! The country brainwashes us to think some way for us to do what they want. But most people say fuck that. THERE ARE A MILLION REASONS WHY WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER IN THIS WORLD! But nothing matters when we will die in the end. So fuck it… I don’t care. These are my ideas. My feelings. My beliefs. If you don’t like them, I don’t care. If you agree. I think this song is about growing up. kinda... Growing up your johnny, self centered little johnny. but as you grow up you seem to change. and you become Roger. a not so nice person you once were. and you dont want to be roger.. hes no fun... I'm at a point in my life that i'm trying to find a reason to live. and i need to grow up and im slowing become "Roger". I got into this song because it reminded me of JTHM. but its stupid to believe thats its about Nny and Squee.. Zenmaru, in the comics it explains how everyone, for some odd reason, never seems to suspect johnny as the murderer.. Hes really lucky, i guess.. The schizophrenic idea makes alot of sense to me. |

This song means alot to me. Sure its all about a good night of getting high and getting really messed up but there's another deeper story. The struggle of how drugs are. I've had a night or 2 like this one, someone offers you a little then some more! Its fun, but its messed up. You dont know if you will make it though the night. but you dont give a fuck. You know you need to stop, and you know you will live longer if you stopped, but you dont want too. "This is my fucked up life! Don't try this at home!" "Fall into a spell way deeper than hell" Some drugs make you feel like shit and you dont feel on earth. "With glee so I can possibly end my existence G.H.B. ain't no need 4 resistance, ecstacy" These are bad, but why not..
