you could almost relate this song to drugs ( i mean just to sort of read it in a dif way from love/reationships) kind of how it can snow ball from just a good time here and there to more of a problem not to say that it lead to addiction but maybe to a point where ya start to realise its stop now or perhaps lose a whole lot more then ur prepared to 'I thought what I need is a break face for one whole year I burned so brightly I thought what I need is a new place when I looked around this was the town that I found oh that I found' to me is kinda like holy shit ive bin partyin to hard for nearly a year and sort of wondering how it went so fast and how ur not really where u thought u would be and its time to put it all behind you and move on/away and grow up and get ur self sorted out i feel i could go on and on as to how these lyrics could be related to drugs but i somehow think that im prob not right but still i like to change it up abit |

to me i kinda read into this song being abit about looking back on times partying with ur best friend, ya know like how ya both get really messy or high together and ur having a blast and nothing can bring ya down and u start doing things u wouldnt normally do and getting abit wild and a wee bit troublesome and cheeky all the way into the early hours "i dont care how far we go" "the night turns in but you're all go, go" and - "don't get in over your head I just want to be bad" is like dont over do it, dont get into any serious drug habbits or what eva just once in awhile break loose and experiment and have fun and "you're so tragedy and you were hard on me " is kinda of how ya feel when u start coming down or start to feel hung over how ya get seedy and abit unhappy like lifes so "tragic" lol its kinda of a laugh at that part too tho so over dramtic about feelings not that i at all think tegan and sara are PRO drug or anything like that but we all from time to time rebel abit and have fun with our friends and sometimes break the rules and thats more what i see in this song :) its a great song!!! |

so i read into the song as shes just found out her partner has cheated on her but her partner doesnt know she knows or maybe tellig her through song she knows?? if I don't recover (so much pain she feels she could die) sell this house and find something lost outside your window (house meaning the relationship,sell it - shes hurt and should end it,find her heart outside - her partner throw it away) not forever on the night i die, i swear i'll sleep outsite your window (really hurting,again thinking its so bad she could die, sleeping outside her window - something about love and loyalties she still feels) i feel the knife go in (the pain of betrayal) i'm feeling anxious (unsure what to do,she loves her and wants to be with her but its painful) not enough to kill me i thought it'd happen fast but i'm feeling it now (almost wishing it did kill her shes in agony about it all) and i feel anxious sleeping inches from me, i let it pass (again not knowing what to do,stay or go) emy should i stop?
