Yeah, it leaves plenty of room for interpretation and that's what's great about these kind of lyrics, because you can connect them with different things in your life. As for what this song really is about, I remember reading somewhere that fifty six falcon is a translated name of a street in Antwerp or something. That's probably where the singer's girlfriend lived. |

This is the story of a guy who killed his girlfriend. Three voices clash inside his head. The first one is that of good : oh my, what have I done ? The second one tries to justify the act : she deserved her fate. The third voice is that of evil and madness. "Let me come to you like a child" is an obvious biblical reference : the guy confesses what he's done to a nun called Sister Dew. |
