I love, love, LOVE this song its so upbeat and happy i love how everyone is getting all fired up about it she pashed someone at a party... she doesnt know their name that isnt a big deal really it happens and as for her "needing the drink" to do it i dont think thats the message she is trying to get across after a drink or two there are a lot of people who would pash someone they dont know at a party. the only thing even close to a problem is that she is cheating on her boyfriend... but every second song you hear these days is about someone cheating on their partner i do love how she says she hopes he doesnt mind from my experience, most guys do not mind lol quite the opposite... lol |

to me, this song is about someone who has helped me through a rough patch that im going through how long have i been in this storm so overwhelmed by the ocean's shapeless form waters getting harder to tread with these waves crashing over my head (this is me being overwhelmed with whats going on in my life) if i could just see you everything would be alright if i had to see you this darkness would turn into light and i will walk on water and you will catch me if i fall and i will get lost into your eyes and everything will be alright and everything will be alright (i know that when i see her ill be safe and she will look after me and "everything will be alright") i know u didn't bring me out here to drown so why am i ten feet under and upside down (this is how at times what she is doing seems to make things worse but in the long runs it turns out to be for the better) barely surviving has become my purpose cause i'm so used to living underneath the surface (ive been in this rough patch for so long and i spend my days jsut putting one foot in front of the other and "barely surviving") if i could just see you everything would be alright if i could see you this stormness would turn into light and i will walk on water and you will catch me if i fall and i will get lost into your eyes and everything will be alright and i will walk on water and you will catch me if i fall and i will get lost into your eyes and everything will be alright (same as above) and now everything is alright everythings alright (i see her and talk to her and for a little while everything is ok) and thats just what it means to me everyone has a different meaning because its one of those great songs thats what makes its so powerful. |
