I am a law student and have come to the conclusion that this song has a little to do with our penal system. Little thought is put into what the person is actually thinking. The "act" is what makes some actions criminal and others not. Technically, God can kill anyone at anytime and it's legal, because he's God. A stretch, but think about it!! |

This song is about physical and mental abuse used as a form of mind control- typically by someone who has power over you- and in this song i believe it's a parent. At the end the kid is fed up and kills the abuser. |
