There was a time in my life where practically ever line fit my current state of mind. I think it is the classic case of a guy who constantly dreamed of a girl he wanted to be with, but could never get the guts to ask her out in real life because he was scared that she thought he was "ugly." So instead, he constantly dreams of the girl and how it would be like to be with her. It consumes his every thought as a result and isolates him from everyone. He is so worried about failure that he rather just keep the dream instead of shattering it completely. Every time he "walked that line" was the battle he had within himself between going after her in real life or sticking with his vision of her in his dream. |
