"Sometimes I think this cycle never ends We slide from top to bottom and we turn and climb again And it seems by the time that I have figured what it's worth The squeaking of our skin against the steel has gotten worse" basically, its the same thing every day, the same phases in their relationship. and the part about the skin and steel i think is a metaphor to there relationship being as a rollercoaster, ups and downs. and the part where he's talking about waiting for something to go wrong, I can relate to all too well. He feels like everything is going to smoothly, and he's jus waiting for something bad to happen. Anticipating the familiar relief after it finally happens. thats my thoughts though. |

i randomly came across this song and automatically fell in love with it. I came on here to see what the meaning of it was, because I hadnt bothered to try to think about it. And according to Autumns Gone, and LoveCanDie, It describes my whole relationship with my ex boyfriend. It's amazing, and sad all rolled into one. This is my current favorite song though. |

I don't think the car crash part of the title refers to an actual car crash. I actually think it refers to love, some people refer to being in love as being in a car crash. I'm not sure how to explain it. I'm probably totally off base. oh well, its still an amazing song. |
