Everyone got kinda pissed off when he sang Pain at Taste of Chaos...we were all chanting "Sound Effects!" but I suppose he didn't hear.

Hmmm...to me it seems quite obvious that this song is about cutting. "Her arms are so sore" and "side to side with death" because she's cutting from side to side. "On the Edge" probably refers to the edge of a razor or a blade, and the girl starts cutting herself and can't stop - "she longs for more and more". At first she isn't coming back because she's got so far into it that she can't stop, but by the end of the song she just wants to die which I'm gathering she does - "the last time" and "her last wish".
It's actually really sad...I wonder if Bill writes from experience? |
