| New Found Glory – My Heart Will Go On (Celine Dion cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

To the person above me...I more or less completely agree with the first paragraph. The chorus is indeed done quite poorly. I'm not much of a fan of Céline, but I do love the melody of the song (the lyrics aren't half bad I guess haha)... But honestly...the chorus...half the greatness of the original was the high notes that Céline could hit, NFG's singer sort of slips in and out of key which is sometimes painful. Don't get me wrong, I generally love NFG. I'd say if the lead could hit the notes properly (yes I understand he is a male and probably can't sing that high...often people lower their voices an octave if that's the case...or switch to screaming...which is just comical). Other than that, love the rhythm of his voice, everything but where the high notes are supposed to be, and the guitar is entertaining, and yeah, I'd say upbeat-the guitar, though. Personally, in the way of covers, I prefer their cover of "Kiss Me", a bit closer to the original in comparison (the signer can hit the notes) and it's not a terrible song. I wish they'd just done a better job on this one. Oh and that last paragraph from the person above me...hilarious. Especially everything after "hence the fact...". Hahaha. |

"Kinder" is kid/child in german... Haha. Amusing. That's what caught my attention anyway. Doubt that was the intention since someone said Kinderwhore is a genre or something. |

More or less accurate, but the order of words isn't always there....up until "There the sun shines"...it might be there shines the sun. There goes my heart, that I want to give to you. I want to carry you, I want to love you. (i think) Then the love stays. (i suppose remains could work too) Did not ask, is simply there, Running away doesn't work, that is clear to me Love doesn't want, Love doesn't fight, Love doesn't become, (?) (perhaps change) Love is. Love doesn't seek, Love doesn't ask questions, Love is as you are. Goodnight, my beautiful, And I still want to thank you. What you've done, what you've said, It surely wasn't easy for you. You think of me, in full love, And what you see goes only forward. You are courageous, you are smart, And I'll always be there for you. I know that for sure. We are two and we are one, You and I are like children, Who love themselves as they are. Those who do not lie and do not ask, If there is nothing to ask. And we long the things clearly, (?!) And if one of us must go, We are nevertheless always there. We are there, we are there, we are there. We are there, we are there, we are there. Love doesn't want, Love doesn't fight, Love doesn't become, (?) (perhaps change) Love is. Love doesn't seek, Love doesn't ask questions, Love feels, as you are. Love doesn't is not, Love doesn't fight, Love doesn't become, (?) (perhaps change) Love is. Love doesn't seek, Love doesn't ask questions, Love is as you are. As you are, as you are. Love is as you are. Love is as you are. As you are, as you are. It's not perfect, but it's closer...three years of german isn't quite enough for me to know all the words, though : ( |

| Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

"P.S 50 CENT CALLED HE WANTS HIS BEAT BACK. " Ummm...do you mean Super Mario? Cuz that's all I ever think about when I hear the first few notes of the song... Slitwrist, first off, "not all songs are made for meaning , ( thats why you have instrumental songs)" I'm afraid that's more or less inaccurate...instrumental songs can be quite meaningful, be it the expression in it, or the image that it's supposed to create. The rest of what you said was intelligent enough...however the song isn't a hit through anyone's real talent; it's the music industry, they know that this is what the majority of the population likes, so they market it, and "made for the dance" or not (which is really just a gimmick to get people to listen to the song-it's the song that comes first) the industry is right-people like it. Some people, anyway, personally I'm not one of them. Gotta hand it to the music industry, not the artists sometimes, to know what they're doing. |

| Sonata Arctica – Don't Say a Word Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Ooo aren't you cool, attempting to insult people. This song has many clever lines...and is indeed very much like Othello (except contrary to what someone wrote above, Othello doesn't light a candle, he puts them out...symbology). Marriage, cheating, murder of the accused, etc. |
