AQUARIUS said "The only thing I don't get with that theory is "if your my guide, I'm your guide." So I don't know, it may be about a significant other."
If you're still thinking it's about religion, the whole guide thing could be about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is her guide, therefore she'll guide others to God. "If you're my guide, I'm your guide." Kind of makes sense.
I know this will be down-voted because of the religious aspect, but I was just trying to help Aquarius see it from that point if they wanted to keep up with the religious idea. |

Actually, I think the "sun" and mirror here refers to coke. There have been other references to coke with the word "sun" in other songs by other artists, as well. But here, with the sun and the mirror together, it makes perfect sense. Doing lines on a mirror.
Also, the line "as long as I'm getting thinner..." along with the sun and the mirror just makes it spot on references to coke.
Or at least that's how I'm looking at it. |

I'm 23 and at first, I thought the Jonas Brothers were the most annoying "band" on the earth because I never heard them yet just like Miley Cyrus, they were all over the place. But this song, I must admit, is catchy as hell and I'm absolutely hooked on TJB.
Also, Kevin is the cutest. He's definitely not left out when it comes to the fans. |

I've always thought this song was beautiful and had a seductive tone to it. And then, I was watching old episodes of "One Tree Hill" and was amazed that they used it during a makeout scene in the first season. Awesome. |

I'm with ohnoodles, to a point. At first, I absolutely hated the song. Every time I played the album, I would skip over it. And then I listened to it a few times. And it grew on me for a whole two hours. And now, I think it's wholeheartedly the worst song on the whole album.
I'm about 70/30 on it. Some days I can stand it, but most of the time I'm really not diggin it. |

No one will ever really know what the last lines are unless you speak to the guys, yourself... but to me, it simply sounds like something played backwards at first, then that one word that stands out is something in Spanish. I mean, maybe it's just secretly something garbled that they want to confuse us all by, by playing it backward. Who knows. All I know, is I love it. |

livelovemusiccc, I am right there with you with "it's trying to remember how it was to be with him." It's funny spending all that time with someone, you'd figure you'd remember, but once they're gone, it's almost like nothing existed to begin with. This song definitely hits WAY close to home, as I'm sure most music does. Also, I am in love with Maria's music. I've never heard a song from her that didn't fail with me. |
