I listen to this song almost everyday. I agree that the words barely even matter. You hear what you want and the build up halfway through the song affects me so much.
Considering the lyrics though, when I hear "You hate it all and you still you shampoo" I think of someone who hates life but they still clean themselves, like they are still stringing themselves alone. Depressed people usually become careless of cleaning themselves and of everything else. I dono, thats what I thought when I heard it.

Wow. This song is so chillingly beautiful. I cry almost every time I hear it. The melody and voice give me this horribly scared and extremely sad feeling, just like I imagine someone who fears death would feel. |
