| Coldplay – O Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| Arguably the most beautiful song Coldplay have wrote. I adore it. The piano seems to pull at something inside me. | |
| Rihanna – What Now Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
Totally agree. I'm not a big fan of Rihanna at all but couldn't help but take a deeper look into the lyrics whenever I heard it. Definitely seems to be a song about depression. "The more I swear I'm happy, the more that I'm feeling alone 'Cause I spent every hour just going through the motions" Apathy is a symptom of depression and she seems to be describing it here. "What now? I just can't figure it out What now? I guess I'll just wait it out What now? Somebody tell me What now?" The chorus emphasizes her feeling of hopelessness using both the lyrics and music. Having experienced depression myself, this is definitely a song I can relate to which is something I'd never thought I'd say about a Rihanna tune. |

| Elbow – Scattered Black And Whites Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Absolute genius. Guy Garvey is like an artist that paints with words. | |
| Elbow – Switching Off Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I have just cried uncontollably while listening to this tune. I think it is about death and it is such a beautiful song. Not many songs have moved me like this one | |
| Bat for Lashes – Daniel Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Fantastic song. Only heard them tonight on the TV and they played this song. It has a fantastic atmosphere to it and i really like her voice. | |
| U2 – Magnificent Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Love the Riff on this song. Edges gives this song the edge. | |
| U2 – No Line On The Horizon Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
To me "no line on the horizon" means that there is no limit as to how far you can go. It's up to you |
|
| U2 – Get On Your Boots Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I am a big U2 fan but, for me, this is the worst song they have done. I could try all day to shoehorn a meaning into the song that would make it appeal to me in some way but it's just awful Terrible. Utterly terrible. |

totoroto - Never thought of it that way. Interesting take. big1reagan - Go away and fuck yourself. The only sad bastard here is the cunt that has went through 19 pages of posts about this songs just so that he can post a shitty, irrelevant comment. POST BY bil1reagan on Higher by Creed "i agree with jwill01.some people only listin to type of music then say that you are stuiped for listining to a nother type of music. everyone is coaut up in what they think is cool just to be accepted in the world then they get online and dog other people and there music just to make them selfs feel better.creed is amazing.Be more open minded" Now, what the fuck are you in here mouthing for. Great tune. The sort of song you can just have playing in the background while you lay and gaze at the night sky. |

Yes it is. She loves the cock and is singing about it. She can have mine anyday! |

| Coldplay – Strawberry Swing Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Another song with a sound i would never hear from Coldplay. This album continues to surprise me. A real feel-good tune from Coldplay. All the critics of Coldplay would never have thought it was possible. | |
| Coldplay – 42 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I personally didn't think Coldplay could surprise me any more on this album after i heard Viva La Vida. This album is sooooo good! This song is just one of the high points on what is a fantastic album. | |
| Coldplay – Viva la Vida Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| viva la musica! As you can see from my first comment about this song, that is exactly the lines I'm thinking along as well. I still can't pinpoint who exactly they are refering to in the song. | |
| Coldplay – Viva la Vida Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song has something to do with religion because of the references to romans, Jerusalem and the opening line 'I used to rule the world, seas would rise when I the the word'. I can't figure it out. But I love this song already the sound is so different to the normal coldplay and is refreshing to hear. This along with violet hill have really got me lookig forward to the new album. | |
| Coldplay – Violet Hill Lyrics | 17 years ago |

'Priests clutched onto bibles Hollowed out to fit their rifles And the cross was held aloft' Possibly one of the best lyrics i have ever heard from Coldplay/Chris Martin. |

| Elbow – The Bones Of You Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Guy Garvey is a lyrical genius. The images he creates through his use of language are nothing short of magical! 'But image on image like beads on a rosary pulled through my head as the music takes hold and the sickener hits' 'When out of a doorway the tentacles stretch Of a song that I know' Only a few but i could go through every Elbow song and pick out stuff like this. Amazing. It's a shame Elbow don't have the status that they deserve. |

| Robbie Williams – The 90's Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Can't believe only one comment. Possibly Robbies best song to date bar Angels. A bit of an insight into his life and some of the people surrounding him. His voice actually works very well on this song. Rudebox on the other hand........ | |
| Robbie Williams – Handsome Man Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think it's more Robbie taking the piss here. The media always accuses him of being cocky etc so this song is sorta taking the mickey outta himself. | |
