i feel that this song is about someone who really really liked someone a lot.. who held on to something that was really not there (what i believed to be true was only a dream for as long as they could. but they finally realized that this "hell" they are going through is all because the one they care about doesn't have those feelings in return. they eventually let go and find paradise because anywhere was better than where they were before. they finally come to the conclusion that like that certian individual was their biggest mistake and all they want to do now is leave. |

so if you are going to sit here and complain that this site is about song meaning, actually tell what you think the song means.. not bash the people that arent. i think this song is about someone who lost all his friends, and he can't find them. He figures there is nothing better for him and doesn't want to stick around. Likewise, a woman has been spoiled and handed everything on a silver platter, but this particular guy has confused her and lied to her too many times to count. She doesn't know what she wants and is just trying to find herself. (prett self-explanitory) but together, the two know they aren't alone. that they are both going through hardships and that they have to make it out, because they believe in each other. |

I feel that this song is talking about death. She is telling the story from the perspective of deceased loved ones. Nobody really knows what happens when you die, and the dead ones finds the "screaming crowd" funny. Well, time goes on and they are starting to decay to nothing, and they pray that this disease, or the grief of their deaths, leaves their loved ones. Then, the dead are telling the secrets to life that everyone already knows, but just can't see through the transparentness of it all. ie) "this is how it works you're young until you're not you love until you don't you try until you can't you laugh until you cry you cry until you laugh and everyone must breathe until their dying breath" don't tell me that that is not the most obvious stuff that just bypasses you. and then.. "this is how it works you peer inside yourself you take the things you like and try to love the things you took and then you take that love you made and stick it into some-- someone else's heart pumping someone else's blood and walking arm in arm you hope it don't get harmed but even if it does you'll just do it all again" i think this is talking about find that person you love and giving yourself to them, even if they do hurt you. and once they do, and you hated the way that felt, you will look for love again. |
