I think you guys are taking this song too litterally. [No offence] Maybe its about a girl who is in a relationship and this guy wants to be with her and its telling her to dump him. "All I'm saying is do you, do you want to lose it all? 'Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug You can't wait to fall in love" First line "do you want to lose it all?" as in their friendship "cause this is more than just a dance hall drug" as in his love is pure and he wont hurt her "you cant wait to fall in love" shes just rushing things and not seeing what he can give her "Don't it feel like something's not right in his kiss tonight?" this also supports my point. "All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly? Then you should pack it up and say goodbye 'Cause when the push comes to the shove, it's just a dance hall drug" first line is like you know the feeling you get when your flyign well hes asking her if she wants that 2nd line if she wants him she has to dump her boyfriend 3rd line same thing as before, his love is purer than that other dudes |

To me this song seems to mean that a girl is going through hard times, thinking of hurting herself and stuff but falling in love with this guy has changed her attitude towards life and he has basically saved her from suicidal thoughts hence the paragraph/stanza whatever you want to call it: "And I was trying to disappear, but you got me wrapped around you. I can hardly breathe without you. I was trying to disappear, but I got lost in your eyes now. you brought me down to size now." Beautiful song. Amazing album. Great band. |

I think this song is about liking someone and wanting to tell them but your afraid of the consequenses. "I just want to tell you so you know" meaning that you want to tell them how you feel. "Here I go, scream my lungs out and try to get to you" I think that means you keep trying to tell them but you miss your chance. "Made my mistakes, let you down And I can't, I can't hold on for too long" Made my mistakes i think means that you should have told them but you didnt, I cant hold on for too long i think means that you cant not say anything anymore. "Here I go so dishonestly Leave a note for you my only one And I know you can see right through me So let me go and you will find someone" I think this bit is about they way you told them you liked them, by the leaving a note part i think its meant that you were too scared to say it to their face. The next part i think it means thats they dont like you or by the seeing right through me bit, meaning that they dont pay much attention to you. So let me go and you will find someone i reckon means thats your sort of give up and dont care if they find someone else. Well thats just my interpretation anyway |
