The part after "we paint a zero on his hand" where everything builds up and the drums go fucking nuts then it breaks back into the awesome riff is one of my favorite parts of any song ever. This song is genius. The guy above me has got it right |

This song is fucking bonkers. It's so vivid and beautiful and intense and rich and....etc. He is seduced by this person's eyes, a metaphor for pursuing this person that he loves, but they are only phantoms and they lead him off the edge into a deep ocean meaning that she leaves him. He then enters a deep depression getting picked over by the worms and weird fishes of the ocean but when he finally hits the bottom he is able to escape and start anew. |

I don't think it's not actually about fucking dead person. The "eyes of red lips of blue" thing is just a metaphor for someone who is sad and dead inside. The singer is saying to this person who is dead inside is that all they need is a good fuckin. And most of the song is just made up of metaphors for this guy ejaculating all over her.
"Earthen trail of slimy goo I smear it on your cheeks like rouge"...he's jizzing on her face.
Painting a rainbow means jizzing too.
"Little drops of shark infested sea"...he's talking about semen here. |
