this song kills me. it said EVERYTHING that i wanted to say to my ex. I was in a long distance relationshop, and i was going to move to LA to be with her after I graduate, and we came so close, but we broke up 9 months before i graduated:[ i used to play it for her all the time. I even changed the words to "hey there maia" [her name obviously]. idk, i still have 6 months to graduate, so who knows what will happen.. i am still moving to LA to go to LAFS :] |

Basically, i think it means, she just got out of a serious relationship, and she is still in love with the person, so she has to leave the town in which they were together in for so long, and go back home to "drown the memories" of the relationship. She jsut wants the other person to say "yes, it's over." she needs a definate answer, because everything this chick is telling her is making her more and more confused. Ha, definately hits home :] |
