| This song is amazing and I love it! One of Jason's best. | |
| Jason Mraz – Unfold Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| In my opinion, he's talking about how he's finally, I don't want to say letting go, but he's giving in and he knows that it's the right thing to do. It's almost like when two people are fighting and they both know that one is right but the other is too subborn to give in, but they finally do and are happy about it. I may just be getting that from the line "and my arms unfold" as in like, I'm not mad anymore, lets hug. Yeah my mind works a little "different" from most. | |

| Best song ever!!!!! I love Lifehouse and I can never get tired of this song. The play count is over 100 on my iPod. I'm loving how many people have said that this relates to a specific situation they're in, it's a very powerful song and I'm glad people are connecting with it...check out there other stuff :) | |
| Matt Nathanson – Wedding Dress Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this is a really really sad song......in all of it's possible meanings. In my opinion, he's saying that he's feeling like he's not good enough for the girl, he realizes how much he loves her, but feels guilty because he knows he's not the one for her. Like he's being pulled in both directions, he knows it would be best for both of them to be apart, but he wants to be together so bad. Thats my take on it at least, although now I'm thinking that Sestar99 has a really good point. | |

This song is obviously about missing someone, but I think he kinda of mellowed it out for the album. Check out an earlier version on youtube. I like both to be honest, this version has a little more heart but I like the overall sound more in the studio. The audio is pretty good but there are a couple of parts that are hard to distinguish it goes mostly like this.... This is the sound of my voice Ticking loud in my head This is the hollow reminder Of all the words that you said If I could walk on water If I could tell you what's next If I could make you believe Make you forget So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for This is the sound of my noise (?) I've got a mouthful of all the wrong words And all that you said If I could walk on water If I could tell you what's next If I could make you believe Make you forget So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for And the sound of your voice This is the sound of my voice Ticking loud in my head This is the way that (?) This is the sound of my voice Ticking bomb in my head This is the way that fills me up If I could walk on water If I could walk on water If I could walk on you If I could (?) If I could (?) So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for So come on get higher Light me on fire Using your hips And the sound of what Your asking for And the sweetest sound of your voice Your voice Your noise I want to know what other people think of this version, heres the link......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFsSn9EOmM8 |

I don't think this song particularly represents God or some girl, though it certainly could. I think it simply means he's had something happen that absolutely devastated him and he's simply remarking at how amazed he is that he has recovered or is close to recovering. But as I reread the lyrics it certainly seems to referring to someone? Music is open to so many interpretations. (also in this song I think they sound alot like The Fray...like freakishly so) |

I think this song is about him trying to run from himself. The more I listen to OneRepublic the more convinced I am that they have some underlying religious meanings..this lyric in this song really made me start noticing the little refrences.... Walking on water Seems perilous Now you've got my trust |

| I think this is one of Jason's real works of art. Definitely one of my favorite Lifehouse/Blyss songs, I have like 60 so that's saying something. Even if you haven't actually heard the song just the lyrics themselves are amazing. The first time I heard it I actually had to sit down and absorb it. | |
| Lifehouse – Mudpie Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I found a few other little typos...it's a pet peeve of mine when lyrics are wrong, though Lifehouse lyrics can be hard to interpret...anyway... Just spin me home Sinking fast Stir now I always thought this part went like... But your spinning hole Sinking faster now I dont know it really could go both ways I guess and ... It's not too far to run So I will follow the sun I thought the run was walk and obviously the sun is probably the son referring to Jesus Trying to crew through that Shouldn't that be chew? I assume that's just a typo. and lastly.. Clever lives end up rusty & forgotten I think lines fit's in there better but I guess it could also mean lives but are lives really clever?? then again Jason's lyrics are nothing but unique. That's one of the reasons I love Lifehouse/Blyss. |

I think this song has many many ways to interpret it. To me it means someone who has just realized his entire world is a lie. He is trying to figure out who he is becuause who is was was a lie. He is trying to figure it out before it all falls apart, he needs to be able to hold onto who he is when it does fall apart. If that makes any sense. Just how I think of it. Also, be sure to check out their new vid for Whatever It Takes. |

This song is truely amazing. My favorit line would have to be... "I'm feeling alive all over again As deep as a sky under my skin" I just love the visualization. I do have to put in that the VH1 sessions acoustic performance if absolutely amazing on this song. I almost like it more than the original. Towards the end of that version you can feel how much this song means to Jason. This song is amazing in every respect as all Lifehouse songs are haha. Be sure to check out their new vid for Whatever It Takes. |

This song is absolutely amazing. Jason's voice just fills the space in the music and fits so well the background guitar. Its about just reflecting on how your life has changed for good and bad. I love the line... "all the answers I've found on the way are few and far between" I love Lifehouse because the lyrics actually mean alot. Every single song just touches everyone in a different way. They aren't like alot of the music today written just to be there. |

| I think that this particular song is about maybe losing somebody or making a wrong decision and regretting it. Then just crying out to God for help in either situation. Who knows it could be both. | |
