| I like food | |
| Rage Against the Machine – Darkness (Of Greed) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Is it me or does this song sound a bit like Freedom. The guitar solo is the same type of slow bluesy solo just like in Freedom. Both songs are awesome. Live & Rare is one of the best RATM albums |

| A Perfect Circle – Fiddle And The Drum Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song is so powerful. I think that its one of the best APC songs. It may not have instruments in it or have a strong beat, but it is one of their best songs. There is so much harmony in it, and the lyrics are powerful beyond their means. This is a great way to end the album. In a way eMOTIVe is a story (starting off with Annihilation [the beginning of a war] all the way to Fiddle and the Drum [realization]. This is one of the best APC albums, and truly one worth listening to. The entire CD is really vivid. Keep this music alive. Support A Perfect Circle, Tool, & Puscifer |

| A Perfect Circle – When The Levee Breaks Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
APC is one of the only bands who are able to take a song, do a cover, but also call it their own. They can take a old song, put a new beat to it, put a different emotion behind it, then it transforms into an APC song. Very intelligent band they are. I can't wait to hear their fourth album. If and when they create it. Tool is still pretty awesome too. A band where their creativity is beyond any other bands. Keep this music alive, support APC, Tool, & Puscifer |

| Rage Against the Machine – Freedom Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| After the guitar solo it sounds like Zach says "drop that" but I could be mistaken, either way its a wicked song. One of the best from RATM's first album | |
| Black Stone Cherry – Rain Wizard Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The song "Rain Wizard" is about a local legend of mysterious wisemen who could bring the rain in times of drought. - Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Stone_Cherry#Albums |

| The Raconteurs – Blue Veins Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Dosent this song remind you of an early Robert Plant? I played this for my stepdad (who is a huge Zeppelin fan) and he thought that it was an early Plant album... It is an awesome song. I play this song in my band all the time, the bass line is absolutley awesome, yet simple. | |
| Richard Cheese – Down With The Sickness Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Richard Cheese takes music to the next level. His satire and parodies of music is really quite hilarious and quite unique. I prefer Richard over Weird Al just because he takes the song and creates an entire new genre to it and pokes fun at the reality of the original song. | |
| Deep Purple – Child In Time Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I've seen Deep Purple and I've met Ian Gillan and Ian Paice, but never have I noticed how deep and almost religious these lyrics are until a few years ago. I believe that this song is about persuading and the devil. I think that The Lord is punishing the devil... I'm probably wrong |

| Neurosonic – So Many People Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is so funny, although on Wikipedia there is an article about that guy from Panic! At The Disco [totally dont listen to the band, so I dont know his name] who is with Ashlee Simpson, who is all pissed off at this song... This is probally [I think] the best song by Neurosonic off of the Drama Queen CD, although the entire CD is awesome and one of my faveorites from local bands. | The Villains – In The Days of Gerk Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I first heard this song on C-Jay 92 [A local radio station in Calgary] late one afternoon... I knew from the start that The Villains were going to go far. This song has a lot of energy, wicked riffs, tight drum beat, and goes above the standard of rock music for this era... I saw The Villains live in concert in '06. After a few smart-ass jokes that began with this song. They thundered through it without a single mistake, and managed to put a wicked guitar solo at the end which led into a cover of "Born To Be Wild". As long as The Villains are still together they're going to take the rock industry to a new level, which will be known as Villianism. "2.5% of proceeds from this concert may go to a good cause, or maybe buy us beer for this night... We havent decided" |

| The Vines – Don't Listen To The Radio Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I first heard this song on Flatout 2, and after hearing it a few times I thought that it was radio propaganda... After downloading some more Vines I started taking a closer listen and I started to fourm the oppinion that the music on the radio is bad [since its mostly mainstream bands] and that theres a lot more out there than whats on the radio. There are many bands out there whom arent played on the radio very often [eg: Tool, Bobaflex, As A River]. Even just going to a music store and taking a few names of some bands opens up a wide variety of music and oppinions about different events.... I do it all the time, and I'd have to say that it really helps open my eyes about the music scene... |
|
| Bobaflex – Bullseye Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I'd have to agree with you, this song is about gun violence in general. I'd have to say that the rap scene [although I dont listen to much rap] is mostly about negative influences like violence, rape, murder etc. Although some other music also focuses on that like death metal, but the message is totally different. No matter what type of music there is, there is some mention of violence or hatred... |

| The Crystal Method – Name Of The Game Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I only have two Crystal Method CDs (Tweekend and Vegas). I am listening to Tweekend right now, and I can tell you that "Name of the Game" is on it, not Vegas... if you dont believe me look at the CD |

| Tool – Lipan Conjuring Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
According to Tools website it says: Lipan Conjuring: The Lipan Apaches were one of several southern Athabaskan-speaking tribes that ranged over the southern Great Plains during historic times. Ancestral Lipans probably constituted part of the bison-hunting "Querechos" that Spanish explorers encountered on the Great Plains in 1541. http://toolnavy.com/showthread.php?t=37680 |

| Alter Bridge – Blackbird Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
After buying Alter Bridge's CD "Blackbird" I would have to say that this is my faveorite song. The entire CD is well put together but this one song stands out the most. Maybe because its in memory of someone or maybe because its just so emotional. I think that this song is about losing a close family member or a dear friend. (like Phantom Death said). I can totally relate with this song, just the meaning and the way they make the words emotional. Its one of the best songs by Alter Bridge. I hope that they keep on the great work. |

| Voivod – Nothingface Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think that the song means that he is on his way to the bathroom because he badly has to piss, but cant seem to find it. | |
