For me, this song reminds me of my Nanna who passed away a few years ago. We saw a movie together in the theater called "Get Over It'. It was a teen flick and it came out about 7 or so years ago. It was such a good movie and it had this song in it. It reminds me of one of my best memories of my Nanna, and myself. It's such an uplifting song, even though it get's very dramatic and sad sounding in some parts. That horn in the beginning is so heroic sounding and it just makes me feel like someone is calling out to me with all their emotion. I know it sounds cheesy but that's just what it means to me. Every time I hear this song I get teary-eyed yet happy and I feel great at the same time. I believe that it is just about strong love between two people but I also believe that it can mean so much more, depending on who's listening. |
