| SERIOUSLY!!!! So Dave has no clue what hes talking about, but you do....sounds like a conservative KNOW IT ALL...yeah i agree he does a great job with songs about love, but he did an amazing job on taking a dark issue and putting joyful light into it...even if you dont like the message of the song you have to appreciate the music...personally i think its one of the best songs in the album...if you cannot put your personal opions aside and really hear, see, and fell the song then you missed out on the beauty and i feel sorry for you.....FACTS!!! HA...cooling my ass...fact and fiction work as a team...now if you knew where those lyrics came from i would give you 1 point for credit...and try not to google it...heres a hint...(in your eys) hes another liberal tree hugger that doesnt know what hes talking about...but he has done sooooo much for his community and the environment....you have a nice day oh and go get a jacket cause its gonna get colder and colder...hell just get a coat from a polar bear they will all be dead soon enough cause its getting soooo cold the ice is melting :) peace | |

I thought the same thing Youthrillme.... saw a man on the side of the road with a sign that read 'will work for food'. Tried to look busy, 'til the light turned green.......This explains how people are in their own little selfish worlds...who knows what happen to this man and why hes asking for food...gov, drugs, economy, who knows he could have been karma in diguise...but people just pass him and judge. I saw a bear on TV and his friends were all drowning cause their homes were turning to water.................Polar Bears are in danger of disappearing due to the rapid climate changes...and its sad to see these creatures that have no chance against the humans need for things they want, but dont need. Wake up, sleepy head. I think the suns a little brighter today Smile and watch the icicles melt away and see the water rising... Summers here to stay, and all those summer games will last forever Go down to the shore, kick off your shoes, dive in the empty ocean..............Climate change will give us the summers we long for, but careful what u wish for u might just get it. I love how he take a song that starts out so beautiful as a love song would and it turns out to be a sarcastic tone to this worlds inevitable destiny.....this new album has it all love, sex, end of the world, man the energy is sick.....LOVE IT |

Def about his sister...songs that Dave does that never get on an album always transform into something new and hes always playing with his lyrics...I have had the pleasure of hearing many live songs like cornbread, shotgun, crazy easy, breakfree, etc etc.....take crazy easy for example it has never been the same EVER!!! Heres what I think…..Jack and his wife were in Europe together and this is when they really chose to take the next step in life...He tells her he cant give all she wants, but he will give her what she needs…love! Le Bois d' amour is a camping site in Europe that’s is beautiful…Ive been there….He says it will take them home because it has nice beaches and waves just like Hawaii…but not as nice…Getting lost is not a waste of time because they would’ve never found that place…then they will stay there away from everything else as the forest around the sleeps. Then he makes a bed as they spontaneously just bask in the beauty of this place…then he tells her he cant change the past, but he promises things to come..then he goes on talking about how they could make their lives into anything as their lives will take them to bigger and better places….then came the children…lol It’s a very simple song about a turning point in their lives. |

I just heard this live on 4-19 and 4-20-08 in Hawaii. He dedicated this song to his wife and at the end he went straight into Better Together. It was such a great show. He also played Pirate looks at 40 with Dave Matthews...It was a dream come true. Angel is one of or prob the best love song Jack has written. I love his simple sound to such a deep song. |

This song is about livin in the moment!!! Also, its about having someone thats a bestfriend/lover b/c he sings about adoring someone who lives in the moment and together they live life....hence...."And if nothing can be done WELL make the best of what's around". This song brings about her face, the one i love and adore. When listen to this song it makes me smile and see my parents, grandparents, and my love. Why? B/C this song is only about LOVE. There are many forms of love, but this is about that one love that goes beyond butterflies...the kind thats not 50/50 its 100/100%. Love is when you never stop exploring your love, it never sits to rest. I watch my parents and see after 25yrs they still laugh and learn new things about eachother and they never give up...its like giving up is never going to be an option. Daves an enchanting song writer....i love how he sings my feelings...This song is the most romantic song he has ever written...My only wish is to see him sing this live with her in my arms:) Ill leave with my fav quote....
